1. Eiffel Tower, Paris, France (324 meters)

Surely you know this building? Eiffel Tower is located in Paris. Built-in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel, this tower was originally used as an observation tower. Eiffel Tower requires 50-60 tons of paint to protect it from rust. Not to mention, this tower is very famous for pre-wedding!

2. Tokyo Tower, Japan (332.9 meters)

This tower in Tokyo has the same function as the Eiffel Tower. Around Tokyo Tower, there are restaurants, museums, and shops. Tokyo Tower was built from 1957 to 1958 by Tachu Naito.

3. Guangzhou International Finance Center, China (439 meters)
This tall building consists of 66 floors that function as offices, conference centers, and hotels. This towering building was built from 2005 to 2010 by architect Wilkinson Eyre.

4. Kingkey Finance Center Plaza, China (442 meters)

This building is often referred to as KK100, which is located in the city of Shenzhen. KK100 functions as an office and hotel. This building is the tallest building ever built by an English architect named TFP Farrels.

5. Zifeng Tower, Nanjing (450 meters)

Architect from Skidmore, Owings, and Merill (SOM), named Adrian Smith initiated the construction of this building. Zifeng Tower is used as a hotel, restaurant, and public observation area.

6. Petronas Twin Tower Malaysia (451.9 meters)

The famous Twin Tower in Malaysia was built by Cesar Pelli in 1992-1998. This building consists of 88 floors which are the largest office of palm oil in ASIA.

7. International Commerce Center, Hong Kong (484 meters)

This tall building was completed in 2010, consisting of 108 Floors. The ICC was built by a team of architects from MTR Corporation Limited and Sun Hung Kai Properties as offices and hotels in the West Kowloon area.

There is something special in this building, the swimming pool which is on the 108th floor. Wow, the view must be amazing!

8. Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai (492 meters)

What is unique, this one building is shaped like a giant bottle opener. There is a hole of 164 feet to reduce wind pressure. Shanghai World Financial Center was built from 1997 and was only completed in 2008 by William Pedersen.

9. Taipei 101, Taiwan (508 meters)

Its construction began from 1999 to 2004 by an architect named C. Y. Lee. This skyscraper functions as an office and shopping center in Taipei, Taiwan. Shaped like an eight-story pagoda.

10. Willis Tower, Chicago (527 meters)

Initially, this building was named the Sears Tower. However, since 2009, the name has changed to Willis Tower. The name change is due to Willis Group occupying most of its space. Architects Skidmore, Owings, and Merill (SOM) built the building during 1970-1974.

11. One World Trade Center, New York (546 meters)

The perfect Octagon-shaped building consists of 94 floors. One World Trade Center, later called the WTC, was one of the victims of the attack on September 11, 2001. The WTC architect is the owner of Skidmore, Owings, and Merill (SOM) named David Childs.

12. Makkah Royal Clock Tower, Mecca (601 meters)

Also known as Abraj Al-Bait Tower, this building is devoted to the accommodation of the pilgrims. The Royal Clock Tower was built by a team of architects from Al-Handasah Architects from 2004-2012. This tower has a golden crescent weighing 35 kilograms at its peak.

13. Shanghai Tower, Shanghai (632 meters)

It was built from 2008 to 2015 by architects Marshall Strabala and Jun Xia. This building is used as a restaurant, shops, offices, sky lobby, and recreation area. Shanghai Tower consists of 121 floors which also has a museum inside.

14. Tokyo Sky Tree, Japan (634 meters)

This tower was built as a place for broadcasting, observation, and recreation. Tokyo Sky Tree was built from 2008 to 2012 with an architect named Nikken Sekkei. Tokyo Sky Tree is designed to be earthquake resistant, you know.

15. Burj Khalifa, Dubai (830 meters)

Who has never heard the name of this building? Built from 2004 to 2010, the tower was sparked by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

From 160 floors, there are 304 hotels and 900 unique apartments. This tower also has the fastest elevator in the world.
